I would like to try and capture image close ups of the dancers next time. I have arranged to shoot with them again in the studio and was thinking of what images I could capture. I wanted to try and get more close ups so, using the images I captured from the previous shoot I cropped them in certain areas so they would give me close ups of the different parts of the body.
Below are some examples of the images I cropped so that when shooting with Megan and David the dancers I could show then examples of what I am trying to achieve.

The image above is of Megan, she does pole dancing and has very good leg muscles, so I would like to capture her body and incorporate her leg muscles similar to the images of David bend over. The image is to symmetrical so I would like for her to stretch so that I am able to capture her legs in stretch and not have them matching as your eye focuses more on whether they equal then the beauty of the stretch.

The image above is of Megan again she is about the stretch back so her head would touch her foot. I cropped it to get the way her legs were formed in the square format frame. I would like to try something similar to this but push her more so it brings up her muscles more in her legs.

I like the structure of Davids are above and how it remind her a swan. I like the form his muscles are, the elbow sticking and how the fingers are firmly pushed together and straight. I would like to try something similar to this and not have the knee in shot and to make sure David is more tense so it brings how everything more.

The image is of David is when he was doing press ups and it brought out his shoulder blades. I decided to get more close and try to be alternative and rotate the image, bu doing this I feel it as a different feel to the image. It makes his head look different and you begin to look closely at the image to work this out. I will again try something similar to this with David.

The image is of David again doing press ups but it is when he down to the floor so his shoulder blades are more pushed in creating a different feel to the images. I will try something similar to this in my shoot with David but will capture it more close up so it is cutting his head of the images as I find his hair to be distracting from his back.

The image above is one of my favourites. I have cropped into this image so would like to try and capture it again but capture it close up instead of having to crop after. David was arched back holding his legs and with his arms but it looks to like there are two people on the image. The image is above perception. I would like to capture this image and bring out the highlights in his feet and his hands and arms.
The above two images are of David stretching out. He was stretching out and when we looked at the images after capturing them when he was in his leotard it did not have the same effect, so David was happy to take his leotard off so I could capture his legs muscles as well as the muscles in his back and arms. The above two images are similar but I prefer the bottom image where he is lead to the side as I prefer the lighting and the way his spin shows when he is stretching. I have decided to work on the last time and try to improve it by bringing out the highlights of the body more and increasing the colour.
I tried different editing techniques on the image of David stretching over to one side and thought I would have a test using duo tone but found that you can't get the tones how you would like to. I have a go using different colours to see what effect it created but I preferred the black and white instead.
Overall, I decided not to use duo tone and will ask my tutor to advise me on how to bring out the highlights in the body and about the lighting in the studio. Next time when I shoot in the studio I will try captures more close ups and increase the exposure when capturing.
